An English Brass And Hand Painted Inkwell C. 1840

A very decorative and unusual 19th century round inkwell. The base and sides of the top are hand painted with figures and landscape scenes and it stands on a brass pierced base with four feet. The glass liner is missing otherwise it is in very good condition. It measures 22cm in diameter.
