This late 1600s/ early 1700s lignum vitae snuff mortar has a bulbous top and a straight neck. It''s a rare survivor being over 300 years old.
Minor chipping to the rim and base as expected for a great piece of treen that''s this age. It has an associated pestle with it.
The mortar measures 11cm h x 7cm w at the top.
