The Real Wood Furniture Company has dated this Welsh Comb Back Chair to the 1800s.
Until recently this chair was in a Welsh dealer's private collection for more than thirty years. The chair was souced from the Conwy valley, from where it is thought to originate. Original condition with evidence of historic surface woodworm, on the ends of the armbow, which is however structurally completely solid.
