Woodbridge Antiques has dated this Edwardian Silver Vesta Case to the 1910s.
The lid is hinged to one side and there is a loop at the side for attachment.

Hallmarks are clearly visible on the inside lip of the vesta case for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1912 and maker's marks WJ Myatt & Co. The Lion Passant is also visible indicating the finest sterling silver.

It has a nice gilt interior and is a good weight.
Condition: In very good condition (some very slight surface scratches mentioned only for accuracy).
