Earl and Rymer has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The upper section features a pair of architectural panelled doors, while the fall-front opens to reveal a theatre interior - a sophisticated, multi-tiered arrangement of concave drawers and pigeonholes. Built to the highest standards of the period, the piece features oak drawer linings.

The brass swan-neck handles are a later period replacement (19th/early 20th century). The interior shelves have also been sympathetically replaced more recently.
An interesting detail which can be removed if preferred.
