This is an interesting 19th century snuff box, burr walnut, which is quite thin. It has a lid on both sides which opens for storage of snuff in both sections. Note there is an inlaid mother of pearl on one side and an inlaid ebony oval on the other side to distinguish between the two sides.
Lovely integral wooden hinge to both sections.
The snuff box measures 9cm w x 5.3cm d x 1cm h.
