Top Quality Indian 92g Solid Silver Box Kutch C1890 Antique

Description

A beautiful solid silver Indian box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1880-1900 most likely made in the Kutch region. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, it closes tightly and the inside is clean. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11.2cm) long by 1.25 inch (3cm) wide by 1 inch tall and weighs 92 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
