Description

A charming antique sapphire and diamond ring. The cornflower blue sapphire is set in rose gold opposite an old mine diamond in platinum, which sit between sweeping platinum shoulders set with rose cut and old cut diamonds, leading to a slim 18k rose gold shank with grooved detailing.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:? Round cut sapphire. The main diamond is an old mine cut, with old mine cuts and rose cuts in the sides.

Colour:? The main diamond is I. The side diamonds range from H to I.

Clarity:? The sapphire is loupe clean. The main diamond is VS2. The side diamonds range from SI1 to SI2.

Carat:? The sapphire is approximately 0.50 carat. The main diamond is approximately 0.35 carat, with a further approximate 0.10 carat in the sides.

Circa:? 1910.

Size:? M 1/2 (UK) or 6 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The ring is 9.3mm at the widest point and sits 4.4mm from the finger.

Weight:? 3.03 grams.

Metal:? 18k rose gold and platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
