The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch is a good wearable size at 34.5mm diameter excluding the later winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel. The case back is signed inside with the Universal Geneve logo, and the outside has the serial number which dates it back to 1955, together with the model number. The case is in good condition, just a couple of small patches of marking to the back.

The lens is in lovely condition (some natural light reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in its original finish with original copper coloured hands. The design is the more unusual one with the horizontal 3 and 9.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
