Victorian Antique Silver Table Presentation Snuff Box, Nathaniel Mills 1846

Description

An excellent Victorian antique silver table snuff box with a presentation inscription. Made in Birmingham in 1846 by the master silversmith Nathaniel Mills. The box has a period inscription dated 1849 to Mr William Temple. The interior is gilded and has hallmarks on the top and bottom. It is in superb condition with no damage or repairs. The 17 part hinge is tight and the lid fits well. A very collectable piece of Nathaniel Mills silver. It also has its original case.

Weight; 174grams or 6ozst approximately.
