Pair of 19th C Decorative Side Tables

Description

A Pair of 19th Century Side Tables, Drinks Tables.

Each with a circular top, edged with boxwood. The mahogany crossbanding enclosing needlework decoration of flowers and leaves, amongst which a bird perches. The needlework set under glass, enclosed within the crossbanded rim, to form a flat surface. The columns topped by rounded and ringed caps, over tapering flutes, falling to a ring turned lower column and ogee socle. The bases of stepped re-entrant profile, likewise edged in boxwood, the vases raised up on small bun feet.

Height 19 1/2 inches, 50cm.

Diameter 10 1/2 inches, 27cm.
