A Rare Trio of French Château Spire Finials (Late 18th Century)

Description

Likely recovered from the rooflines of a French estate built in the late 1700s, these hand-carved oak finials are charming examples of architectural salvage.

Their tall, tapered shapes preserve original patina with weathered lead flashing and faint traces of old red paint.

Rather than being restored, these finials embrace their discovered condition—complete with some hand-forged nails and the rugged surfaces of aged wood.

Sold all three together only.

Condition: wear commensurate with the age and the original use.
