Fine Shapland and Petter Oak Arts & Crafts Dressing Table C1900

Description

Here we have a wonderful solid English Oak dressing chest of drawers by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple c1900. As you can see the Oak has fantastic colour and patina. There is a well carved Oak mirror frame with foliage and Tudor roses. The mirror supports have outstanding twisted beaded columns and finials. The base has a quarter sawn top with moulded edge. The drawers retain their original handles and are all Oak lined. The Locks are all stamped S P and B for Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple. The whole sits on a well turned base. A super period item by a great maker in lovely retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 150 cm high 122 cm wide 56 cm deep.
