The generously padded seat is covered in decorative needlepoint upholstery featuring repeating floral roundels with stylised roses set within circular medallions on a soft green ground Bought from a dealer at Les Puces flea market in Paris

The upholstery is finished with an attractive fringe trim incorporating tassels and pom-pom drops in complementary tones of green, pink, and cream, adding movement and texture to the piece The base is supported on turned and carved dark wood bun feet, giving the stool a traditional English country house character.
