Antique Oak Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusually small solid Oak bookcase of much above average quality. Very rare to get a marquetry panel in the base of the door, complimented with a parquetry cornice. The drawer handles are of a pre Art Deco design. The base has nicely turned and fluted legs set with shapely stretchers in between. Even the shelves have a reeded edge to the front. Condition is very good and all ready for the next 100 years.
