Antique 0.65 Carat Burmese Ruby & Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1905

Description

A truly lovely antique cluster ring featuring a bright, pillar box red ruby which is surrounded eight old cut natural diamonds in a platinum coronet setting. Sits nice and low to the finger on a slim 18k yellow gold D-shaped shank.

This ring is accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut: Round cut ruby and old European cut diamonds.

Colour: The diamonds range from H to J.

Clarity: The ruby is moderately included. The diamonds range from SI1 to SI2.

Carat: The ruby is approximately 0.65 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.70 carat.

Circa: 1905.

Size: L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The head of the ring is 11.4 x 11.1mm and sits 6.4mm from the finger.

Weight: 2.96 grams.

Metal: 18k yellow gold and platinum - stamped and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
