Large Mid 19th Century Swedish Pine Trestle Table

Description

Large mid 19th century swedish pine trestle table circa 1860.

Real piece of traditional swedish rural furniture.  large top allows it function as a dining table or even a desk.

Pine plank top has been sanded back to reveal a cleaner surface, this is raised on an X frame trestle end system, united by a large stretcher and secured to the top by pegs/dowels.  beautiful colour and patina.

Expected minor losses to woodwork, evidence of dead/inactive worm which has been treated.  strong and sturdy and ready for everyday life.
