The top is beautifully figured with striking flame mahogany veneers arranged in a radial pattern which creates a wonderful symmetrical effect across the surface.The table stands on a substantial central pedestal column which rises from a shaped platform base with three elegant sabre style supports terminating in raised feet. This form of pedestal construction provides excellent stability while allowing comfortable seating all around the table.The warm rich tone of the mahogany combined with the clean Regency lines makes this an extremely versatile piece which works equally well as a dining table or centre table.
