English Arts and Crafts Coat Stand in Solid Mahogany

1900 - 1920
Description

K0642 Fine quality and very elegant Arts and Crafts hall stand, having turned finial to the top above a revolving section fitted with five original brass coat and hat hooks, three further hooks below, all raised on three fluted and shaped uprights united by original brass umbrella hoop, terminating in circular base below with original drip tray, all standing on three fluted downswept legs. This antique hall stand came to us from a private collector in London. The stand has been very well looked after over the years. Solid, sturdy, woodworm free. This antique coat stand has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed and it is in home ready condition. c1900
