This exquisite silver ''Thistle'' hat pin holder was made by the prolific Crisford & Norris and is dated Birmingham 1927. The plain circular loaded base with a central stem emanating from the original blue velvet cushion. The stem with a terminal modelled as a thistle and inset with an amber glass finial. The textured terminal with circular wirework frames designed to hold hat pins in place.
