A Satinwood Heavily Inlaid Triple Wardrobe by Shapland and Petter of Barnstable C1890

A Satinwood heavily inlaid triple wardrobe by Shapland and Petter of Barnstable C1890. This wonderful original piece has a central mirrored door with a dental moulded cornice above with a readed lip under. It has its original Brass handle to the door with a hanging rail inside. To each side is a gallery cornice above the bow fronted doors. Each door has four heavily Inlaid panels with original Brass handles and key. Inside on the left is a rail and on the right are three slide trays. Under the doors are two short graduating drawers both of which are Ash lined with original Brass handles and escutcheons with an Ebony strung edge to the drawer fronts. The base has two long deep drawers, again ash lined with original Brass handles and escutcheons and it is moulded around the bottom and stands on a plinth base. It separates into six pieces for ease of movement.
