A wonderful set of four antique Edwardian sterling silver and enamel menu/place card holders which have been designed in the form of game birds depicting a patridge, pheasant, snipe and grouse. Each of the cast silver birds with gem set eyes sit neatly on a pink enamelled cylindrical plinth with a section at the rear to house the card. The plinths then rest on a round silver gilt base which completes the overall design. These lovely silver menu holders would make interesting additions to a collection and would make a statement when displayed on the table. They remain in excellent condition.
