An extremely impressive and large mid 20th Century Oil on Canvas Landscape Painting depicting an expansive & tranquil country river scene, with wonderful blue skies, a small rowing boat, towering trees, a hamlet in the distance, and two period thatched roof cottages that can be seen nestling on the riverbank.

The work is entirely original throughout, and it is mounted within the decorative original white wooden 1960s vintage frame, with an attached period fine art gallery label verso.
