Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The aged bevelled rectangular mirror plate within a moulded surround and carved parcel gilt inner slip. Beautifully mellowed it boasts a lovely warm patina and surface, the gilding also remains in relatively good condition and has a lovely old lustre to it, a nice large sized mirror, this is a real statement piece. There are a few minor old breaks and repairs to the frame, having been well repaired.
