A Very Good Quality And Attractive 18th Century Georgian Pair Of Mahogany And Brass Candlesticks, Having Charming Foliate Cast Brass Nozzles Over Elegant Fluted, Turned Shafts, With Twisted Carving To Bottom Raised On Circular Moulded Disc Bases.This design of candlestick was popularised during 18th century georgian times and then much copied throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. So naturally there are many, many later copies available which could be described as “in the georgian style” or similar.
