An exceptional large carved oak writing table of superb presence and quality. The table is fitted with two drawers to the front, each framed with finely executed carving, including striking depictions of the Green Man amongst scrolling foliage and animal motifs.

The table stands on substantial boldly carved legs, richly detailed with deep leaf and floral decoration, giving the piece a commanding and architectural appearance.

The oak has acquired a beautiful aged colour and patina, enhancing the depth of the carving and highlighting the craftsmanship throughout.
