A nice quality English Victorian antique solid sterling silver table cigar lighter. It is hallmarked for London 1894 with the maker being Joseph Braham, well known for making smoking pieces. It has been stylishly designed in the form of a hunting horn and would have been used by gents after dinner to light their cigars. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits holes. It requires a cord wick but these can be bought on line. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.2cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) wide and weighs 136 grams. A superbly made high quality piece.
