The top is beautifully inlaid, fan inlays on each corner and an inlaid panel spelling out " LETTERS " around the slot where the mail would be deposited. The brass fittings have all been meticulously & professionally cleaned to gleam, including the Bramah lock, a true sign of quality.

The top has a thick bevelled glass panel protecting the clearance schedule, complimenting the thick bevelled glass panel to the front, this is here so staff could see if there was any post to be collected.
In superb condition complete with working key, the footprint measures 12 1/2" x 7 1/2"; the box standing 9" tall at rear.
