The barometer reading is indicated by a blued steel hand and can be recorded with a brass set hand controlled with the wooden set key below the main dial. The dial enclosed within a glazed convex brass bezel. The removable alcohol thermometer set on a silvered brass scale calibrated from -20º to 150º Fahrenheit. Also with hygrometer and rectangular level to the base of the barometer showing the makers name and place of work. The mahogany veneered case with high quality chequer strung edge inlay, swan neck top and a brass finial.
