Description

A very rare 17th century folding spoon. The handle is made of iron and inlaid with silver depicting hunting scenes. Some inlay is missing condition is commensurate with age and use. The reverse of the bowl of the spoon carries two marks probably a makers mark and country of origin mark. Bowl is silver. There is a sliding mechanism to hold the spoon in one piece. Originating from Germany or the Low Countries.
