A Regency Rosewood Drop Leaf Table

Description

A beautifully proportioned Regency rosewood drop-leaf table, dating from the early 19th century. This elegant piece features two drop leaves and a single frieze drawer with turned knobs with mother of pearl centres.

The table stands on slender tapering legs. To the top of these is a carved acanthus leaf down to a reeded leg, finishing on brass casters.
