Victorian Plated Flask & Cup - Leather Case

19th century
Description

This plated flask and cup in its original leather carry case dates to 1872-1876 it is by Lund & Blockley (formerly Viner) they were watch manufacturers and had premises in Pall Mall London and Rampart Road Bombay (now Mumbai). The base of the large cup also carries the name Lund & Blockley. The cup carries the original owners initials as does the leather case. The inside of the lid still has the original velvet lining. The overall condition is commensurate with age and use. The leather is in good order the top of the flask is distorted (please see photos) but the bayonet fastening is in full working order, and there is some wear to the silver plate, again this can be seen in the photos. A quality item.
