Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The beautiful oak case has a wonderful warm, age-related patina that only age can produce. It has a full length door that is crossbanded in fine quality mahogany. It retains it's original lock and key.
It has the typical flat top to the hood with blind fretwork and 3/4 pillars to the front and 1/4 pillars to the rear.

The white painted 12" square dial has black Arabic numerals, gilt painted spandrels, and markers to the quarters. It has a subsidiary seconds dial and inbuilt date ring. it is signed by the maker FISHER of DULVERTON.

The 8 day movement strikes on a bell on the hours. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered horologist and carries our usual 12 mths full parts and labour guarantee.
Complete with all original keys and keeping perfect time.
A most pleasing clock to the eye and beautiful in every respect.
