Description

A small antique Victorian sterling silver pill box which is shell shape in design with attractive decoration to the body depicting flowers and swirls, a hinged lid with the same decoration and resting on a flat base. The interior has been nicely gilded and this lovely silver pill box would make a useful addition to a collection. The hallmarks are clear but the maker's mark has been rubbed over time. It remains in excellent condition.

Length: 4.6 cms (1.8")

Width: 3.6 cms (1.4")

Weight: 16 grams

It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1892.
