This is unusual - a solid sterling silver novelty pin cushion, fashioned as a goblet or chalice.It is hallmarked on the side of the main body for Birmingham, possibly 1919, although the date mark is somewhat rubbed. The maker''s mark is for E J Houlston Ltd. It looks to be the original cushion, slightly faded around the edges.
