This Georgian mourning ring, dated 1781, is a timeless piece of sentimental craftsmanship. The oval design features a bright turquoise paste cabochon, likely a later addition to this piece, bordered by a delicate surround of natural seed pearls. The cluster head joins a thin navy blue enamel band with gold inlaid wording which reads ‘WILL M ALMACED . 3 . JAN . 1781 . AGED . 65’.
