Georgian, Rare, Slice-cut Stem Wine Glass, Tulip Bowl

This is a rare Georgian, slice-cut stem wine glass dating from the late 18th century, c1780.
 
The glass is in excellent condition for its age. It shows the age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot consistent with some 200+ years of use. It has a rough pontil mark on the underside of the foot.
 
The glass has a tulip-shaped bowl measuring 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) in diameter at the everted rim. The bowl is cut with petal-like facets to the base, and sits on a hexagonal slice stem. The rarest of all facet stem glasses are those with such plain hexagonal stems (see Delomosne and Son, English Wineglasses with Faceted Stems (2005), p.5, fig.d). When looking down at the glass into the bowl it makes the pattern of the six-petaled Jacobite rose which some consider to be deliberate. The stem leads to a facet cut conical foot that measures 7.8 cm (3.1 inches) in diameter. The glass is 15.5 cm (6.2 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obv...
