The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Antique Waltham Pocket Watch to the 1900s.
The watch has a high grade 15-jewel grade 420 stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has been engraved, ‘Percy L Haslam, Stanrose, Egerton, Bolton’… Mr Haslam lived at Stanrose Villas in Egerton. There is a little unevenness to this inner cover.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English maker and supplier to Waltham UK. The back of the watch has Mr Haslam’s initials in very ornate form.

The glass lens has the odd small mark but is very acceptable.
The signed dial has one hairline crack but it is very faint. Blued steel hands in the Breguet style.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
