Antique Edwardian locket, the locket is crafted in 9ct gold, with fine engraving to the front and reverse, the exquisitely engraved front with a clear sheild shape cartouche, with a repouse surround edging, the scroll shape bale is double sided, allowing the locket to be worn both sides, locket dates 1910s, measures 45 mm with bale x 25.5 mm, the locket is in very good condition, only very light signs of use, opens and closes with a good click, still with original frame, I expect only worn on a Sunday for best, as they did in Edwardian times, hallmarked 9ct gold for back and front, the weight is a good 6.1 grams, super quality locket, comes in a luxury box.
