Art Deco Silver & Guilloche Enamel Scent Bottle by Richard Comyns, London 1931

Description

This fabulous silver and blue guilloche enamel scent bottle is dated London 1931 and was made by the celebrated Richard Comyns. The sliced-cut rectangular glass body fitted with a shaped silver screw-top lid. The lid inset with a vivid blue enamel cabochon decorated with floral garlands. The inner lid with a rich gilt interior. The neck with clear glass stopper. The base star-incised.

Date letter "q" for 1931.

Dimensions:

Height: 8cm / 3.3 inches.

Width: 5.5cm / 2 inches.
