Victorian Burr Walnut Writing Table.

Description

An early Victorian burr walnut inlaid writing table. The well shaped top with moulded edge and original oval tooled leather writing surface, above a shaped frieze with single drawer either side, each with their original brass locks with stamped Royal cipher, all crossbanded in kingwood. The table stands on French shaped cabriole legs , the knees and feet with original ormolu mounts, and is freestanding with dummy drawers on the reverse side. An elegant table with fine veneers that stands well an in original condition throughout. English Circa 1850.
