She wears a splendid cream silk dress and accompanying blue satin shawl.and displays a double string of pearls around her elegant neck and fashions a beige fedora hat dressed with Ostrich feathers, first worn by ladies from 1882 onwards.

A high society lady dressed impeccably to impress and painted looking directly at the viewer to attract their attention.
