Stunning Continental Faience Bowl / Charger – Probably Bohemian, Late 18th/early 19th Century – Old Christie’s Label
A striking Continental faience bowl or charger, probably Bohemian, dating to the late 18th/early 19th century. A superb decorative piece with excellent scale and presence.
The underside retains an old Christie’s label, adding to its provenance and collector appeal.
The piece measures approximately 40 cm in length and 7 cm in height, giving it impressive display proportions.
The condition is very good considering its age. There are a couple of extremely small glaze-level nibbles to the rim, clearly shown in the photographs, mentioned for complete accuracy. No cracks or restorations are noted.
An impressive and authentic 18th-century faience example, ideal as a statement display piece or addition to a serious ceramics collection.
