Large Victorian Silver Crucifix Locket Pendant

Description

A shining sterling silver antique locket topped with trailing leaves entwined around a large crucifix.

SIZE: Approximately 3.5 x 4.5cm not including the bail, 6cm total drop.

WEIGHT: 20.4g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The back is stamped with the lion passant signifying sterling silver and possibly a date letter but the mark is very rubbed.

CONDITION: The locket is in very good structural condition with hinge and clasp in good working order. The silver has normal surface wear for its age with some scratches bottom front and on the back, see photos. The inside contains photographs of a Victorian lady and gentleman which can be taken out to put your own photos inside if you prefer.

ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
