Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this Zambian Emerald Gold Pendant to the 1960s.
The stone is secured in a four claw 18k yellow gold collet, and dangles from a bright and white old mine cut diamond (rubover set in platinum), which is attached to a 16 inch yellow gold trace chain.

Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows no clarity enhancement, and is Zambian in origin.
Cut: Emerald-cut emerald and old mine cut diamond.
Colour: The diamond is G.

Clarity: The emerald is eye clean. The diamond is VS.
Carat: The emerald is 1.97 carat. The diamond is approximately 0.10 carat.
Circa: 1965.
Size: The chain is 16 inches.
