A fine late 17th-century William and Mary walnut chest of drawers, dating to around 1690, of attractive small proportions.
The top is richly figured with a central circular inlaid panel and feather-banded border, above a configuration of two short over two long drawers.
The drawer fronts are beautifully matched walnut and decorated with delicate line inlay, with brass handles and escutcheons.
The sides are similarly decorated with shaped inlaid panels, and the chest stands on a moulded base with shaped bracket feet.
