This fabulous solid silver cigarette case which is fully hallmarked for 1941 is made by Charles S Green & Co Ltd, has beautiful engine turned decoration and a central Royal Navy badge to the front.This quality piece is inscribed to the inside with the following inscription....From Mum and Dad. 27.8.1942 E.B Carter. Sub.Lieut S.A. Naval Force.So this would have been a gift to E.B Carter from his parents in 1942 during WW2.This case is also marked to the inside with Made in England.
