A compact Victorian pine chest of drawers with a warm, time-softened scumbled surface and strong country character. The rectangular top with moulded edge and rear upstand sit over an arrangement of two short over three long drawers all raised on turned bun feet.

The compact scale makes it an adaptable piece, equally useful in a bedroom, hall or informal living space, and small enough to serve comfortably as a bedside chest.

Very good antique condition with clear surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
