Description

A small, stripped pine trunk, retaining its iron side handles, escutcheon plate and iron edge braces. The clean, pale finish shows an attractive grain and makes this a practical and decorative piece. The lid opens on replacement brass hinges to reveal a useful storage space. A small and well proportioned piece example.

In good antique condition. Stripped pine finish with expected marks, knocks and surface wear consistent with age and use. The replacement brass hinges are a later addition. A good solid piece overall.
