A superb mid-19th century antique Victorian centre table crafted in beautifully figured burr walnut of exceptional quality and rich warm patina.

The rectangular top features stunning book-matched burr walnut veneers with deep figuring and a moulded edge. It is supported on a finely carved baluster pedestal base with acanthus leaf decoration and scrolled legs terminating in original brass castors joined by an intricately turned and carved stretcher for stability and elegance.

This piece exemplifies the opulence and craftsmanship of the High Victorian period with its richly grained walnut, bold proportions, and highly decorative carving. Ideal as a centre, writing, or sofa table, it brings timeless grandeur to any interior.
